The Senior Paper was originally started back in 1954
as a way for senior citizens clubs in Saskatchewan to stay
connected to each other. The clubs in small towns were very
isolated and a small newsletter was a way to connect them
all together.
Over
the years, it has grown from a newsletter with reports from
seniors clubs and organizations into a nostalgia-focused publication
for seniors who love to share and reminisce. |
|
|
| What
started as a Saskatchewan-based newsletter has steadily
grown into a Canadian seniors publication.
Our readership continues to grow inside and outside of Saskatchewan
and the articles continue to diversify as we have stories
from the prairies and all of Canada! |
|
|
| We
are a subscription-only publication. You will not
find us at magazine stands, nor will you find us stacked up
on counters in restaurants collecting dust. We charge a modest,
affordable subscription fee and for that modest fee, we deliver
a whole lot of laughter, upbeat stories and great reading
right to your mailbox 11 times per year. |

We
welcome everyone to write to us, be it a story from your own
life experience, a letter to the editor, your own poetry,
your tasty recipes or even just a note to say hello - it's
all welcome and appreciated! |
