The Senior Paper was started back in 1954 as a way for
senior citizens clubs in Saskatchewan to stay connected. The
seniors' clubs in the small towns were very isolated and this
newsletter was a way to connect them all together.
Over
the years, it has grown from a newsletter with reports from
seniors clubs and organizations into a nostalgia publication
for individuals who like to reminisce and those who enjoy
reading about our history. |

| What
started as a Saskatchewan-based newsletter has steadily
grown into a Canadian seniors publication.
Our readership continues to grow both inside and outside of
Saskatchewan, and the content continues to diversify as we
have more and more stories coming in about life from all across
the prairies and Canada from our 80,000-plus readers! |
|
|
| We
are a subscription-only publication. You will not find us
at your local magazine stand, nor will you find us stacked
up on counters in restaurants. Instead, we charge a modest
subscription fee .... and for that modest fee, we deliver
a whole lot of laughter, good-feelings and sunshine to your
mailbox each and every month. |

| The
Senior Paper is a family-owned newspaper located in Regina,
Sk. We have a small, experienced staff who strive to produce
the best quality product we can for our readers.
We
welcome everyone to write to us - whether it's a story from
your own life experiences, a letter to the editor, your own
poetry, recipes or even just a note to say hello - it's all
welcome and appreciated! We can't always get back to everyone
who writes to say hello - but we do our very best to get every
story that is sent to us published. |
